Fishing Contest

Before Entering,
Please Familiarize Yourself With Our Terms and Conditions

Requirements:

1. You must be a member. ($20 fee)
2. You must be 18 years or older.
3. Fish must be caught in New York City or Long Island Waters ONLY.**
4. Weigh in slips are provided (Click Here) to use with the weigh in at any local tackle shop. Tackle shop employee will sign as weigh master. The slips will be due with in two weeks of closing date. A call will be made to the angler and weigh master to confirm the fish weighed in.

There are 4 contests: Enter fee = $20 each, $80 For Full Member Package (Membership + Contest. Save $20)

1^st Contest: May through June – LARGEST STRIPED BASS ONLY

2^nd Contest: July through August – LARGEST FLUKE ONLY

3^rd Contest: September through October – LARGEST BLUEFISH ONLY

4^th Contest: October through November – LARGEST BLACKFISH ONLY

First Prize:

For Contests # 2 & 4: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico – 4 Nights stay at hotel, 4 days fishing. Includes airfare and ground transportation.

For Contests # 1 & 3: Marathon in the Florida Keys - 4 Nights stay at hotel, 4 days fishing. Includes airfare and ground transportation.

There will be 10 prizes for each contest and a trophy.

*        Each contest ends at the end of the second month.

*        Children under 18 of members are automatically entered in a special children’s division for FREE. Children are eligible to win trophies and fishing tackle.

*        FOR CHILDREN: You simply send in your child’s weigh in slips with their name and yours and their date of birth.

**The rules regarding the fish being caught in the contest should be caught anywhere in NY ... the Long Island Sound, the Race, Block Island, Seventeen Fathoms, Atlantic Highilands. All these areas are included as local waters as long as the boat leaves and returns to NY.
